As
vice president of LCB Consulting, LLC, Travis Hardmon's work
focuses on organizational assessments, board development,
executive coaching, senior management team development,
establishing systems of accountability, and organizational
alignment.
Travis
has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector,
including 16 years as an Executive Director and four years as a
management consultant and most recently served as Executive
Director of Nation’s Capital Child and Family Development (NCCFD)
for the past thirteen years. Under Travis’s leadership, child
development centers operated by NCCFD
achieved national accreditation from both the National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the
Council on Accreditation (COA); NCCFD won the Washington Post
Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management and received an
award from the Goldman Sachs Foundation-Yale School of
Management National Business Plan Competition.

Travis
has significant experience as a management consultant working
with community-based nonprofit organizations, universities and
foundations on projects that focus on organizational capacity
building.
Travis
holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Masters in
Public Administration from Western Michigan University. He is
a graduate of the Johnson and Johnson Management Fellows
Program and Leadership Washington. Travis is currently
pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Organizational Leadership from
NOVA Southeastern University. Travis serves as adjunct faculty
at the University of the District of Columbia where he teaches
courses in Leading Change, Fiscal Management and Fundraising.
